A 40’s inspired wedding dress. Want to add a twist to your bridal style with a vintage inspired gown, but not sure which era to emulate? From the moment I met Claire she was absolutely set on a 1940’s style dress. She loved Jenny Packham’s “Aspen” gown. The dress we designed was very much inspired by the folds of ivory satin chiffon, delicate lace, sweet scalloped lace edging and flattering cap sleeves. The pretty touches to this simplistic silhouette are what make it so beautiful and so perfect for a bohemian bride.
Fabulous 40’s. A mix of golden age elegance and pure sophistication, there’s something so ridiculously romantic about this era. With empire line waists, subtly structured bodices, and flattering arm coverage, these styles still celebrate and compliment the female form in all its guises.
Thank you for my beautiful dress, it was amazing to see the dress that I had imagined come to life. I couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect and so many compliments, even from people who have only seen the photos. Claire
